August 2013 Ipsy Glam Bag

This months ipsy bag was labeled "Glamour Academy" For those of you who don't know what ipsy is, its a subscription beauty product that is sent to you each month.  Cost is $10, you answer a few questions when you set up your profile and are sent 4-5 deluxe sized products.  You can sign up at ipsy.com

This month I was sent Michael Todd true organics jojoba charcoal facial scrub, Chella eyebrow pencil, MICA Beauty Cosmetics shimmer powder,  pixi lash booster mascara, and lasty a noya lip balm.

Now my "review":

MICA Beauty Cosmetics shimmer powder: I received the color bronze, been using this as an all over lid eyeshadow.   I really enjoy this color, however if too much is used it will be extremely metallic looking.  Wouldn't mind getting a few other colors from this brand.

Noya lip balm: Scent/flavor--VANILLA! My absolute favorite smell.  Its just your basic lip balm made from completely 100% natural and kosher products. Have nothing bad to say about this.

Pixi lash booster mascara in black:  I hated this mascara, it did nothing for my lashes except for making them extra clumpy and smudged everywhere.  Will definitely NOT purchase a full size....

Chella eyebrow pencil: I dont typically use eyebrow products but this has changed my mind on that.  I was given it in the color Dazzling Dark Brown and I must say its a perfect match for me.  I had never heard of this brand until now and so far I like it, will need to checkout more. ;)

Michael Todd true organics jojoba charcoal facial scrub: I dont notice much of a difference in my skin, this was a so-so product, will use it more tho.
